A 200 MW partnership wind project in the RM of Lorne, Manitoba is under development.
Innergex is partnering with Indigenous and Local partners to develop the Swan Lake Wind Energy Project, to be submitted in the 2026 Manitoba Hydro Call for Indigenous Majority Owned Wind Power. In the early stages of planning, the 200 MW project could consist of 30 to 35 5-7MW wind turbines, installed on private land in the RM of Lorne. Public engagement will begin shortly. Stay tuned!
