
Licán
Licán is a run-of-river hydroelectric power plant with an installed capacity of 18 MW. This facility is located on the Lican river in the Los Rios region of Chile and was commissioned in 2011.
The facility has a reservoir for daily regulation for up to 3.5 hours, enabling a continuous supply of energy on the merchant market and thus giving it a role on the capacity market in Chile.
