Last December, Innergex announced the joined singing of agreements with the Saik’uz First Nation regarding the development of a wind farm project in Nulki Hills, near Vanderhoof, in British Columbia. This project represents 210 MW of clean renewable electricity and could deliver power to the grid by late 2018.
On November 29, Innergex celebrated the inauguration of the Viger-Denonville Community Wind Farm, located in Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix, Québec. Many dignitaries and mayors of the Rivière-du-Loup MRC took part of the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 24.6 MW wind farm, owned in partnership with the Rivière-du-Loup MRC will provide electricity to nearly 4000 homes.
