- The third Working Group meeting with federal, provincial and local government and First Nations is scheduled for March 8, 2011 in Vancouver to review the revised Application Information Requirements.
- The public comments on the draft Application Information Requirements (dAIR) are now posted on line at www.eao.gov.bc.ca.
- The Pemberton office will be open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm until December 17 and then closed over the Christmas holidays.
- The dAIR is available on line at www.eao.gov.bc.ca and hard copies are available for reference in our Pemberton Office and at the Pemberton & District Public Library. The public comment period for the dAIR begins November 25, 2010 and ends January 9, 2011.
- An Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Pemberton Community Centre from 4pm to 8pm, presentations at 6pm to review the Environmental Assessment process and introduce the Project.
- The BC Environmental Assessment Act Section 11 Order was issued on November 18, 2010.
- The second Working Group meeting with federal, provincial and local government and First Nations occurred on October 14, 2010 in Vancouver to review the draft Application Information Requirements.
- The Recreational Survey period is now complete. Further comments may be submitted by filling out the Comment Form, visiting our Project Office or by email at info@upperlillooethydro.com.
- Cascade Environmental Resources Group is conducting a Recreational Survey for the Upper Lillooet area. If you spend time hunting, fishing, atv/motorbiking, snowmobiling, camping, hiking, nature viewing, exploring, mountain biking, kayaking, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, mushroom or berry picking and/or visiting the Hot Spring.
- Creek Power Inc. has opened a Project office in Pemberton, located across from the museum. Office hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 4 pm. We will be closed Thursday August 26, 2010. Please drop by to meet Project personnel and inquire about the Project. A copy of this announcement in local papers is located in the Downloadable Documents section.
- A Comment Form is available. Please list your comments or concerns and return the form to our office. A copy of your comments and concerns will be forwarded to the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office.
- The first Working Group meeting with federal, provincial and local government and First Nations occurred on June 16 and 17, 2010 in Pemberton.
- British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office issued the Section 10 Order on May 20, 2010 and the Project Description is now available on their website at http://a100.gov.bc.ca/appsdata/epic/html/deploy/epic_home.html.
- Creek Power Inc. was awarded three Electricity Purchase Agreements by BC Hydro on March 11, 2010. Copies of press releases are located in the Downloadable Documents section.
- Technical Working Group meetings include Fisheries occured on March 9, 2011 and May 11, 2011 and Wildlife & Terrestrial on February 3, 2011 and April 7, 2011 - all in Vancouver.
- The Application Information Requirements (AIR) was posted to the B.C. Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) on August 22, 2011. The document specifies the information that must be contained in the proponent’s Application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate.
