Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. is an independent developer and operator of renewable power generating facilities. Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. is one of the most active in the Canadian renewable power industry with a focus on hydroelectric and wind power projects. Innergex Renewable Energy Inc.’s management team has been active in the renewable power industry since 1990 and has developed and brought to commercial operation or refurbished, through different ventures, 11 hydroelectric and two wind power facilities, representing an aggregate installed capacity of 347.9 MW. Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. owns one 8 MW facility currently in operation, and, together with its partners, nine projects with an aggregate of 565 MWof power generating capacity for which PPAs have been secured. These projects are either under construction or will be under construction over the next five years and are anticipated to reach commercial operation between 2008 and 2012.

Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. has been managing Innergex Power Income Fund (the “Fund”) and supervising the operation of its facilities since the Fund’s initial public offering in 2003 and will continue to provide such services pursuant to the Management Agreements.
