Anse-à-Valleau

Overview

The Anse-à-Valleau wind farm is a
100.5 MW wind power facility located in Gaspé, Québec. Innergex II developed the wind farm jointly with TransCanada. Construction of the Anse-à-Valleau wind farm commenced in October 2006 and was completed, as scheduled, in November 2007. Electricity produced by the Anse-à-Valleau wind farm is sold to Hydro-Québec pursuant to a long-term PPA. Based on its own analysis and in consultation with wind power experts, the manager believes that the Anse-à-Valleau wind farm will generate 298,000 MWh in 2008. The Fund acquired a 38% interest of this project on December 6, 2007.
