Overview

The Rutherford Creek Facility is a run-of-the-river development located on Rutherford Creek, 10 km southwest of Pemberton in the Pacific coastal mountains of B.C.

The power plant and adjoining kayak park are visible from Highway 99 (the Sea-to-Sky Highway), which links Pemberton to Whistler.

Operating this facility will power about 18,000 B.C. homes, and over the next 40 years will eliminate approximately 2.9 million tons of greenhouse gases.
